Campaigns

A campaign chains several messages around a date: a teaser, the announcement, a follow-up. Each one goes out on its own at its due time, in a channel or as a direct message.

Every campaign gets a card, with its status:

Status Meaning
Brouillon Nothing is scheduled. This is the only editable state.
Planifiée Launched: the sends will go out at their due time.
En cours At least one step has been sent.
Terminée Every step has gone out.
Annulée Stopped along the way; messages already posted stay in place.

The card shows how many steps were sent, the pivot date, the partner servers targeted, then the step timeline: offset, delivery mode and the start of the message, with the number of recipients served and failures for those already sent.

On a running or completed campaign, four figures are computed: Envoyés, Échecs, Réactions and Arrivées.

The Nouvelle campagne button opens an editor in four blocks: what you say, to whom, and how you will know whether it worked.

  • Nom of the campaign.
  • Date pivot (jour J): the date every offset is counted from.
  • Description interne: seen by the staff only.

A step is one message and its moment. The Décalage (min) is counted in minutes from the pivot date, and it accepts negatives: −10080 min places the step one week before D-day. The timeline spells that offset out (J−7 j, Jour J, J+2 h).

Every step picks its Diffusion:

  • Dans un salon: the message is posted in the chosen channel.
  • En message privé: the message is sent to the computed audience by DM.

In the text, {server} is replaced by the server name, and {user} by the recipient in direct messages.

The criteria stack, and they only apply to direct message steps: a channel message is seen by everyone with access to it.

  • Rôles visés and Rôles exclus.
  • Niveau minimum, Ancienneté (jours), Inactif depuis (jours).

The Compter button shows how many members match and a few names, without sending anything.

  • Code d’invitation à créditer: joins that went through this code since the pivot date are counted as conversions. Without it, no join can be attributed to the campaign, and the Arrivées figure stays empty.
  • Diffuser aussi sur (IDs de serveurs): partner servers where Kotbo is present. Channel steps are posted there if a channel with the same ID exists; unreachable servers count as failures.

The Lancer button asks for confirmation, recalling the number of steps and, if any, those going out as direct messages.

  • Annuler stops a scheduled or running campaign. It can then be moved back to draft with Repasser en brouillon.
  • Supprimer erases the campaign and its measurements. Messages already posted stay in your channels.
