Fun channels
The Fun channels module creates playful, automated spaces on your Discord server. Kotbo enforces the rules and keeps score in real time for several classic games.
Counting channel
Section titled “Counting channel”The counting game invites your members to count as high as they can, in ascending order (1, 2, 3, 4, and so on).
Setting up the channel
Section titled “Setting up the channel”- Go to Community → Fun channels.
- In the first block, Counting Channel, open the Discord channel dropdown and pick the channel dedicated to the game.
- The block shows, in real time:
- Count: the current score of the counting chain.
- Last player: the ID of the last user who posted a valid number.
- If a member makes a mistake or you want to reset the game, click Reset the count (a confirmation message appears).
One Word Story
Section titled “One Word Story”This collaborative game invites the community to write a shared story, one word at a time.
Setting up the channel
Section titled “Setting up the channel”- In the middle block, One Word Story, select the text channel dedicated to the story from the Discord channel dropdown.
- The status area shows the ID of the last author who added a word.
- This channel is entirely policed by the bot: invalid messages are deleted and double posts are blocked without any moderator involvement.
Mystery Number
Section titled “Mystery Number”Challenge your members to guess a secret number generated at random by the bot.
Setting up the channel
Section titled “Setting up the channel”- In the third block, Mystery Number, select the game’s text channel from the Discord channel dropdown.
- The block shows the Mystery target (visible only to staff, on the dashboard).
- To change the target value or start a new round manually, click Generate new target. A Generate a new mystery number? confirmation appears before it applies.
