Giveaways
The Giveaways module posts a giveaway message on Discord with a “Join” button. Kotbo counts entries, picks winners, and lets you reroll if needed.

Section titled “Starting a giveaway”Click Start a Giveaway
The Start a Giveaway form opens.
Describe the prize
Prize / Reward is required; the Description carries conditions or extra details.
Set up the draw
Number of Winners and Giveaway Duration, in minutes, hours or days. Preset durations are offered.
Pick the channel
Then click Send to Discord.
Following and steering
Section titled “Following and steering”Every giveaway in the list shows its status (Active or Ended), its participant count, its number of winners and its end date.

| Pick Winner | Forces the giveaway to end and draws immediately. |
| Reroll | Runs a new draw. |
| Delete from dashboard | Removes the giveaway from the dashboard. |
Drawn winners appear under the giveaway. When staff validation is required, they are listed under Winner(s) awaiting validation. Clicking a name opens the member’s file.
Configuration tab
Section titled “Configuration tab”Manager roles
Section titled “Manager roles”Defines who can start, end, reroll and delete a giveaway. These roles add to administrators and to members with Manage messages, and they gain the /giveaway command on Discord.
Participation
Section titled “Participation”- Required roles: leave empty to open giveaways to the whole server.
- Excluded roles: these take priority over required roles. An excluded member can never take part.
Remember to click Save configuration.
Public page
Section titled “Public page”A public link shares the list of running giveaways with no sign-in and no dashboard access. Visitors see Active and Ended giveaways, the time remaining, the number of entries and the winners drawn.
Entering, however, always happens from the Discord message using the “Join” button.
