Security overview

The Security → Overview page analyses your server’s whole configuration and gives it a grade. It is the recommended starting point before tuning anything in detail.

At the top of the page, a ring shows a score out of 100 and a grade (letter). Below the ring, four counters break down the checks that were run:

  • Critical: gaps to fix first (missing log channel, dangerous permissions left on @everyone…).
  • Warnings: settings that could be better but do not put the server at immediate risk.
  • Information: convenience or usage notes.
  • Compliant: checks that already pass.

Kotbo also tells you how many findings are fixable in one click, and how many score points that would earn.

The date and duration of the last analysis are shown under the score. Use the Refresh button at the top of the page to run a new audit.

The Score by category block sorts categories from lowest to highest: the first row is the one to work on first.

Click a category to filter the findings list on it. Click again to return to the full list.

The Findings block lists every check with its severity, its category and an explanation.

Filter

Use the severity chips (Critical, Warning, Information, Compliant) to keep only what matters. A checkbox also lets you show or hide the checks that already pass.

Read the finding

Each entry explains what was checked and, where relevant, the channels or roles involved.

Fix it

When a finding offers a fix button, one click applies the setting without leaving the page.

Sensitive fixes

Some fixes change existing server permissions. Kotbo asks for confirmation before acting. Read the action label carefully: these changes apply to Discord immediately.
