Activity log
The Activity log keeps the history of configuration actions performed on your server. It answers the question “who changed this setting?”.
The indicators
Section titled “The indicators”Three cards summarise the period on screen:
- Actions (Total), subtitle Configuration: the number of recorded actions.
- Modules, subtitle Sources: the number of distinct modules involved.
- Users, subtitle Unique: the number of different people who acted.
Browsing the log
Section titled “Browsing the log”The table shows the Timestamp, User, Module / Source, Action, Details and Type columns.
- The Search field accepts an action, details, a module or a user.
- Column headers are sortable.
- The Reset filters and sort button returns the table to its initial state.
- A counter shows how many events are displayed out of the total.
An action triggered by the bot itself carries the Automatic type; the others carry the name of the source that produced them.
If no row matches, Kotbo shows No event matches your search.
What it is actually for
Section titled “What it is actually for”- Finding out when a log channel was changed, and by whom.
- Checking that a change announced by a staff member was really applied.
- Rebuilding the timeline after a configuration incident.
