Staff servers

The Staff servers module links your main server to a Discord server dedicated to the team, and keeps the roles on both sides consistent.

Click Link a staff server

The form opens.

Enter the staff server ID

The bot must already be present on that server.

Choose the sync mode

See the table below.

Fill in the rest if needed

A simple staff role and a log channel, both optional, then click Link the server.

Mode What it does
Main → Staff The hierarchy is managed here, a simple role is granted on the staff server.
Staff → Main The hierarchy is managed on the staff server, a simple role is granted here.
Bidirectional The hierarchy is synchronised on both servers.

Each server in the list carries a Staff server or Main server badge, and offers the Sync and Details actions.

A mapping pairs a role on the main server with a role on the staff server.

  1. Open Add a role mapping.
  2. Choose the role on this server.
  3. Enter the role ID on the staff server.
  4. Click Add the mapping.

Without a mapping, the link exists but no correspondence is applied. The Sync button then reports how many actions were performed and how many errors occurred.

These settings pick the staff server channels that will receive the main server’s notifications:

Setting Content
Modlog mirror A copy of the automod, ghost ping and honeypot alerts.
Sanction reports An embed posted on every new report.
Application alerts A notification on every new application.
Staff departure alert An alert with a kick button when a member loses all their staff roles.
Onboarding invite channel The source channel for invites sent to new staff.
Recruitment interview category The staff server category where interview channels are created.

  • Automatic onboarding invite: sends an invite to the staff server by direct message as soon as the first staff role is granted.
  • Recruitment interviews on the staff server: creates the Recruitment module’s interview channels on the staff server rather than on the main one.
