Events & quizzes
The Events module creates three kinds of activity: quizzes, CTFs (security challenges) and custom events with sign-ups.
Three indicators open the page: Total Events, Ongoing and Participations / Registrations.
Choosing a type
Section titled “Choosing a type”| Type | Tag | What it is |

An event moves through the Draft, Published, Ongoing, Completed and Cancelled statuses.
Configuring an event
Section titled “Configuring an event”The General Configuration is shared by all three types:
- Event title and Description.
- Announcement Channel (or None to announce nothing).
- Registration Form: a form from the Forms module, or None for direct button sign-up.
- Start date and End date (optional), in local time.
- Location: Discord, in person, and so on.
- Create the event on Discord: adds it to the server’s scheduled events.
- Send an announcement embed: posts a message with a sign-up button.
Automatic trigger
Section titled “Automatic trigger”An event can launch by itself:
- Manual: no trigger.
- Member count reached: set the target member count.
- Scheduled: set the launch date and time.
The Trigger Status then reports Pending, Triggered or Failed.
Quiz editor
Section titled “Quiz editor”The Add a question button creates an entry with its question text and its answer options. Tick the circle to the left of the correct answer.
The Import CSV button loads a batch of questions. The file must contain the Question, Option X and Bonne Réponse columns.
CTF editor
Section titled “CTF editor”The Add a challenge button creates an entry with:
- Challenge title and Description / Brief;
- Expected flag and Points;
- XP Reward and Reward role (both optional);
- Image URL (optional).
Steering an event live
Section titled “Steering an event live”The Control button opens the control room.
For a quiz
Section titled “For a quiz”- Next Question and Previous move the quiz forward or back.
- Progress is shown as Question X / Y.
- The Chart tab shows answers arriving live.
- The Participants tab ranks players by Score and shows their last answer.
- Finish Quiz closes the event.
For a CTF
Section titled “For a CTF”The Challenges tab counts solves per challenge and lists the latest solves. The Participants tab ranks players by score and by last solve.
For a custom event
Section titled “For a custom event”The Registrations tab lists sign-ups with their registration date and the answers to the linked form. The Remove button cancels a registration.
