Prestige

The Prestige module adds a second, competitive leaderboard. RP (prestige points) measure a member’s recent activity: unlike XP, which only goes up, RP can go back down.

Question Answer
How do you earn them? Every XP point granted by the Levels module is converted into RP, plus a bonus per reaction. A streak of active days increases the gains.
How do you lose them? Inactivity melts RP away when decay is on, and the end of a season resets them. A member can therefore be demoted.
What do they get you? Ladder tiers grant a Discord role, show on the rank card and decide the server leaderboard.

Five indicators open the page: Ranked members, Active streaks, Points in circulation, Streak record and Server leader.

A preset lays down the RP gains and the tier ladder in one go.

Preset Description
Classic (recommended) Nineteen tiers from Bronze to Master, moderate gains, no loss on inactivity.
Sprint Twelve tight tiers and generous gains: the ladder moves every day.
Competitive A demanding ladder at the top, decay enabled: keeping your tier means staying active.
Compact Six tiers with no divisions, six roles to maintain.
Marathon Twenty-four widely spaced tiers: the summit stays a multi-season goal.
Custom Your current configuration, tuned slider by slider.

The tiles summarise the outcome: RP per XP, Tiers, Apex, Estimated RP / day and the state of Decay.

RP is derived from XP actually granted: the cooldown, excluded channels and excluded roles of the levels module apply as they are.

  • RP per XP point
  • RP per reaction and Reactions credited per day
  • Daily RP cap (0 = unlimited)
  • Announcement channel, Announce promotions, Announce demotions
  • Join the cross-server leaderboard

The bonus starts on the 2nd consecutive day. Freezes let a member survive an absence.

  • Enable streaks
  • Bonus per day (%) and Maximum bonus (%)
  • Recoverable missed days
  • Freezes granted per week and Maximum freezes held

Only RP goes down: XP and levels are never touched.

  • Enable decay
  • Tolerated inactive days
  • RP lost per day and/or Share of RP lost per day (%)
  • Floor tier: the tier a member cannot drop below (None to go all the way to 0 RP).

The Simulate and Run now buttons let you see how many members would be affected before running decay.

Three sliders drive the ladder in simple mode:

  • Number of roles: each tier is a Discord role to create and maintain. Discord caps roles at 250 per server.
  • Tier width: from Very tight to Very wide.
  • Widening towards the top: from Constant gaps to Extreme.

In advanced mode: RP for the first promotion, Curve exponent and Divisions per family (Bronze I, II, III, the apex never having divisions).

The Ladder preview shows the RP gap to clear tier by tier, and Member distribution shows where they would land at unchanged RP. Kotbo states how many members would change tier.

You can pair a Discord role with each tier, with two options:

  • Grant tier roles
  • One tier role at a time

A prestige event multiplies gains over a time window, for one source at a time.

Create one with New event, filling in its type, name, multiplier, duration (minutes) and announcement channel.

Each event carries a status: Scheduled, Running, Ended or Cancelled, and reports its number of participants and bonus RP handed out when it finishes.

  • Server leaderboard: members ranked by RP.
  • Active streaks: who is on a streak, and for how many days.
